The official unveiling of Northern Entertainment Week (NEW) at Bolingo Xperia Hotel in Abuja on the 26th of November, 2022 was without doubt a huge success. Clearly, the industry has been waiting for this push. We are glad that the upcoming 3 days of events, which includes Conference, Workshop/Strategic Sessions and Awards are beginning to tackle issues raised.
ABOUT US
Northern Entertainment Week is a first-of-its-kind experience and platform that focuses on bringing the North to the world, with a view to making it a flourishing epicentre for top-class entertainment. Our goal is to provide visibility, investment, and interest in Northern Entertainment.
VISION
To put the Northern entertainment industry on the global map for the effective exportation of entertainment innovation, products, services and solutions.
MISSION
To re-imagine, re-tool and re-invent and Re-frame Northern entertainment industry for global competitiveness.
OBJECTIVES
- To bring together all the necessary entertainment stakeholders to chart a way forward through deliberations, collaborations and project implementation that will precipitate exponential industry growth.
- To reposition the Northern entertainment industry from “Creative Expressions to Creative Business.”
- To discuss, innovate and galvanize the human, intellectual, financial and material resources of the North to achieve her entertainment industry transformation.
- To unify the entire Northern entertainment industry value chain and make it a force for global reckoning.
- To create a platform for Visibility, Trust and Authority among peers and competitors alike.
ACTIVITIES
Conference
A one day summit designed to bring critical stakeholders to share ideas and industry experiences with a view to identify current challenges and proffer practical solutions. This extents to tapping into the opportunities in policies.
Workshops
Knowledge and industry insights plays a critical role for success. The one day masters class is designed to help industry players get better results. Workshop covers; producers/Directors Class, Sound and Music and Talent Development.
Awards
A lot of professionals have sacrificed and built pathways for younger entertainers. Some through talents others through support. We intend to recognize and award them. And also network and establish partnership for progress.
